this is a very good camera very high quality pics it shows every detail the picture has to offer it’s not too big or bulky it’s a nice camera well worth what it cost

as for the indoor pictures coming out poor all you have to do is press the right (flash) botton and place it on flash and then press menu then change the setting to slow synchro on and the pictures will come out much much better

sockpuppetluv, You dont get it. This camera is STRIPPED from all the manual features of previous A series cameras. Canon stupidly crammed 10mp in a tiny small-area sensor which causes higher than average noise. You obviously dont know crap about digital cameras. This camera produces higher than average noise indoors and low light shots are awfully noisy. Get an education before posting again. Even the professional review website agree with me. This camera is junk.

not very good battery choice cause other canon cameras use lithium ion batteries which has a longer battery life, other than that, out of the other 10mp canon compact cameras, this one has the biggest optical

I got this for my birthday, it’s really difficult to take pictures indoors unless I set it on HI ISO. Outdoors it is usually easier to get a better quality photograph. However, Canon is a quality brand to invest in! I’m really interested in the Canon EOS 400D.
